I'm Chantel J. Shaw, I've always loved to draw since I was really, really little. I decided to start learning art because I was always drawing in class, so why not take a class in which I'm supposed to draw? Thus it has become my major. Some of the first works of art I will be putting in here are not the best, but that's okay, I will be improving. I would appreciate any help available, comments, etc. so that I know what to look for and what to do on future pieces!

I'm in an anatomy class right now and my drawing has improved a thousand fold. once you know where things go on the inside, the outside is a snap. It's good to see that you try to draw from life as much as you can, doing this will get you away from the "disney-ish" style if that's not where you want to be, keep up the good work and good luck in school.
